COVID-19 and The Dakota Center

Hard to believe it is October and this pandemic continues just as life always continues. We pray to the Lord this plague is removed from the land.

We closed down the center for a bit near the beginning of all this back in March and reopened in June. April and May we began working on our protocols, training, adapting, and basically learning to live in a pandemic world. June we opened to our seniors for 2 days a week. July we offered in person Summer Enrichment Camp averaging 22 campers per day from July 6-31. August was touch and go with schools being virtual and finally after Labor Day some semblance of a schedule could be followed.

The center is open M-F, 10a-2pm. We are offering in person Homework Club services both digitally as well as in person assistance with homework and specific support in reading and math every Tuesday and Thursday, 2p-6p.

One of our values is to provide a safe and secure environment. While no environment is risk free, we continue to follow our protocols so our clients, guests, visitors, and staff can be in the safest place possible.
