The Dakota Center is a 53 year old Marianist based non-profit providing services to youth and senior citizens living in the inner westside of Dayton Ohio. Our mission is to build character and connect community. We value and focus all our programming with respect to educating the whole person-mind, body, and spirit: The Mind through literacy and skill, the Body through health and wellness and the Spirit through seeking Christ in all persons. Success for us is to inspire the next generation and their parents while assisting our independent living seniors to age in place with dignity.
All proceeds from this event and in the future directly supports our existing programs and provides scholarships for student campers attending the 2019 Dakota Center Summer Enrichment Camp.
The scholarships are for the entire 6 week summer camp (currently a $450.00 value per scholarship).
