Once again our Golden Age Senior Program supported the least among us by hosting their 4th Community Baby Shower (twice a year — Spring and Fall). The seniors raise money, select partners, solicit and gather gifts, and manage the logistics of the event. We want to thank our title sponsor, Molina Healthcare for another incredible job of supporting the pre/post natal families here on the west side of Dayton. Our next Community Baby Shower is in the fall and is usually in the first few weeks of September. We have not determined the exact date yet but keep an eye out for its announcement.

We gave out diapers, wipes, and many raffle items like pack-n-plays, infant car seats, toys, cloths, and so much more. Thank you to all who donated money and/or items to be given away to these young and growing families. If you would like to make a contribution please contact us and we would be happy to share with you what the needs are. Finally, thanks to the Golden Age program coordinator, Quiana Bickham, who is the guiding light and energy behind this successful program which helps those independent seniors age in place with dignity and respect.
