Schools shut down thru April

Ohio’s K-12 schools will be closed for longer than initially planned as the coronavirus pandemic continues, Gov. Mike DeWine announced Monday.

Schools will be closed through Friday, May 1, he said, meaning virtual instruction will take place at least through then. Previously, the order to close schools extended only until April 6.

Given this change in status, the Dakota Center Homework Club will follow the Governor’s directions and suspend our after school program until school is back in session. We at the Dakota Center take our civil duty seriously and will continue to do all in our power to mitigate the spread of this virus. We stand committed to insure the long term health and well being of our clients, employees, guests, and volunteers
